Andorra Telecom

The Government and the ActuaTech Foundation are working together with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab and the Andorra Living Lab, a project aimed at positioning Andorra as a leading innovation centre.

EThe initial work has focused on the collection and treatment of valuable information into a national Big Data database, which will identify patterns on various areas of activity in the country and lend support to decision making. This great tool must allow for the implementation of measures aimed at improving people's quality of life and our visitors' experience, and also the creation of an ecosystem which will enable the development of cutting-edge technology companies in Andorra.

The application of data spatial analysis methodologies has to allow measure to be adopted which can affect areas ranging from tourism and commerce to human mobility and all types of transport systems, including energy and the protection of the environment.
