Art and Landscape The Land Art Biennal is a large international cultural event held in Andorra. For a whole month dozens of artists display their works which aim to imagine a new contemporary landscape. The region becomes dotted with their creations, both in extremely beautiful natural landscapes as well as more urban settings.
Andorra Telecom and several of the country's institutions, sponsor this initiative whose objectives include attracting visitors who have art and culture as their main leitmotif and who value the natural and cultural heritage of the country. The event also seeks to establish a dialogue between local creators and established artists the world over, as well as involve the Andorran society as a whole and especially in getting adolescents and children to understand art as a basic element in contemporary culture.
The first edition of Land Art was celebrated between 10 September and 18 October, 2015. The event brought in about thirty artists, some with brilliant careers, such as Stuart Williams, David Banorbeek, Demo and Joseph Ford, among others.
