The Language Volunteering program is one of the axes of the language policy of the Government of Andorra. Promoted by the Department of Language Policy of the Government of Andorra, it has our support to help spread the word about the program. Volunteering for the language is a language participation project that consists of uniting Catalan-speaking people with others who want to reinforce the learning of the Catalan language. It is a non-academic and relaxed way to learn to express yourself and to relate in Catalan. The language couple must meet at least one hour a week, for a minimum of ten weeks, to converse in Catalan while walking, having a coffee, going shopping, etc. After these ten weeks, the activity can be terminated or you can continue with the same partner or a new one. The aim is to ensure that the learner can have a relaxed conversation in Catalan, it is not a question of doing or receiving a class. Couples are made according to time availability and the parish chosen by the volunteers and apprentices.
