Teenagers and young people, innate content creators.

Young people share their daily lives by means of digital identities and often prioritise what they convey through them rather than what they experience in the physical world.

Beyond what they do, what they stop doing is important.

Spending hours in front of a screen is detrimental to activities such as reading, playing sports, going to the cinema, shopping, writing, dancing and so on, and it can interfere with the realms of emotions and co-existence.

Misuse of screens.

One out of three respondents spend more than five hours a day connected to the Internet and on social media, a figure that rises to 48% at weekends.
17.5% log on after midnight Every day/Almost every day and an additional 29.1% do so Once a week.

Launch of the first Digital Wellness campaign

Our company is firmly committed to training in responsible use of the Internet. The training initiatives for our young people conducted since 2012 with different social agents in the field were supplemented in 2017, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, by the implementation of the B-Resol application in the country’s schools as an additional tool to prevent cyberbullying.

In 2022, Unicef Andorra presented the study titled The Impact of Technology on Teenagers, of which we are partners.

This study and the conclusions drawn from it constitute a highly valuable work tool and provide an excellent collective opportunity to join forces to improve co-existence and the health of society as a whole, especially among young people, in order to support them as they grow up and live together in society.

Our commitment to the area of digital wellness and the conclusions of the study have encouraged us to launch the company’s first Corporate Social Responsibility campaign in 2023. This is an initiative that seeks to raise social awareness of what constitutes misuse of screens and to invite young people in particular to reflect on excessive use of the Internet and social media.
