Andorra Telecom and UNICEF, through its committee in Andorra, signed a partnership agreement in 2016 that formalises the long-term relations existing between the two entities and strengthens the social commitment made by the telecommunications operator.

Andorra Telecom provides support to the UNICEF's activities by providing its services to help develop their programmes. In this sense, the agreement envisions the assignment of the number 606 for the SMS Premium service and the 120 telephone number.

We are likewise committed to participating in the dissemination of the calls made by UNICEF through its normal media channels, studying our participation in other awareness campaigns and carrying out fund-raising among our employees and customers.

The money raised as a result of this agreement will be devoted to the projects that the Andorran committee develops in Cameroon, Congo, the Central African Republic or any of the other programmes determined by the organisation

Josep Vilana, Director of Customer Relations at Andorra Telecom, considers agreements like those signed with UNICEF Andorra to fall fully within the set of values and social commitment held by the company and its staff.
