The Business Seminar reveals three key aspects of digitalisation
It will address its impact on people, organisations, brand management and the opportunities provided by the Internet of Things.
Digitalisation will be the central theme of the three talks Andorra Telecom has scheduled for the fifth Business Seminar, to be held tomorrow from 9:30 am onwards.
Jordi Nadal, Managing Director of Andorra Telecom, will open the Seminar. He explained that digitalisation is much more than a mere trend and that it is very important for companies to be aware of the need to adapt and to understand the new business models and the changing habits of customers.
In this regard, he stated that the Seminar will provide useful information on the impact of digitalisation on companies and people, whether workers or consumers, as well as on two other highly important aspects, namely brand management within the new digital context and the excellent opportunities provided by the Internet of Things.
Nadal sought to emphasize the standing and knowledge of the four speakers at the seminar: Javier Velilla, founder partner of the Comuniza branding agency, Carolina Castellanos, head of the IoT project at Andorra Telecom, and two specialists in digital transformation at the KPMG consultancy firm, digital strategy manager Alfredo Carrión García and director Antonio Mosquera.
Andorra Telecom’s Managing Director stressed that one of the greatest challenges facing the country on a global scale is the adaptation of its economy to digitalisation and that it is the responsibility of companies with a marked technological component to raise awareness and to support the country’s productive fabric during the transition. “It’s a challenge that affects all companies, not just those in the tourist sector and in commerce. Digitalising many of the processes can bring clear improvements to a large number of businesses, regardless of their size or activity,” declared Nadal.
In this respect, he pointed out that the content of the talks will provide valuable information for a broad spectrum of professionals and entrepreneurs, as the digital transformation is totally cross-sectional.
Nadal highlighted that the Seminar has proved highly popular, as around 200 people have signed up.
