Our First Afterwork Brings Around 40 People Together
The opening talk was given by Conrad Blanch
Our first afterwork meeting held this Thursday, brought around 40 people together in Borda Pairal. On this first occasion, the opening talk was given by the Managing Director of the Organising Committee for the Skiing World Cup finals held at Grandvalira, Conrad Blanch.
Blanch explained how Soldeu - El Tarter went from being a family ski resort to hosting the Skiing World Cup finals, as well as joint candidacy of some Winter Olympic Games and has organised several European Cups.
The company aims to establish an event on the first Thursday of each month, according to the head of the Marketing and Business Department, Jordi Segués, who moderated the afterwork: "We’re very happy with the way the first day went. We believe that it’s a very promising format, and will gradually grow month by month."
He also stressed that the goal is for every event to be opened by a well-known person from Andorra: "What we want is to highlight to all those people in the country that do extraordinary things."
The next Andorra Telecom Afterwork is scheduled for Thursday, April 4th.
