10,000 people have already changed their decoder
The special offer to watch Movistar+ Total Plus for free until the end of June has been extended
The replacement of decoders for the TV service is progressing at an impressive rate. Within almost a month of the start of the campaign, 10,000 devices, 73% of the total number, have already been replaced.
The promotional offer of viewing the full range of television channels for those who replace their equipment in May is being extended during the month of June. Those who collect the new controllers and decoders in June can also watch the full range of television channels for free until the end of the month.
As of next Saturday morning, the 1st of June, decoders will be exchanged at the sales office. The office’s opening hours are from 8:30am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and from 8:30am to 1:30pm on Saturdays. The exchange points in Fnac, Illa Carlemany and the mobile van were only temporary outlets for May and will no longer be available.
The spokesperson for Andorra Telecom, Carles Casadevall, said that the response of users was better than expected: “We expected to make an average of 200 replacements a day, and had to make 600 a day in the first 15 days, although the rhythm has gone back to normal now, and there are 3,000 users left to deal with. We encourage users to do it this month so they can see all the TV on offer at no extra cost”.
If we can keep this rhythm up, we should have made 100% of the replacements in the next two months.
