Having access to an international investment forum to submit a project to investors and experts. This is one of the attractions of the Millonario Master Minds business summit, which Miquel Gouarré, the Manager, and Marta Ambor, the Coordinator of Andorra Telecom’s NIU presented today.

One of the highlights of the business summit set to take place on 17 and 18 July at the Hilton Hotel in Barcelona will be the Pitch Sessions, during which the entrepreneurs will have 15 minutes to explain their ideas or business projects to a group of investors and experts. The Millonario Master Minds summit promotes, among other activities, capital injections, networking and consultancy.

Gouarré highlighted that the 48 short-listed startups that will have the opportunity to appear before the panel of internationally renowned investors will include those presented by Andorra Telecom’s NIU. An opportunity, underlined Gouarré, “that goes further, as the summit merges the knowledge of experts in business, marketing and entrepreneurship with the know-how of influencers and their platforms.”

The criteria for applying for one of these places are having a product, having developed a business model and having the first customers. The projects from Andorra that are presented will be given preference. Gouarré also recalled that the products that are presented must be technological, like all those based in the incubator in La Massana.

As for Marta Ambor, the NIU’s Coordinator, she explained how the project’s selection process will be conducted. Ambor highlighted that a selection committee will be responsible for analysing and evaluating the suitability of the projects submitted. This committee, made up of various professionals, will conduct an evaluation process divided into three phases. An initial analysis, which will be carried out by members of Andorra Telecom’s NIU team and the operator, a second evaluation to be conducted by a company valuation advisor unrelated to the company and a final selection filter in which the NIU team and the Millonario Master Minds organisation itself will take part.

The Managers of the incubator encouraged entrepreneurs to submit their projects by 27 April. The selected projects will be announced within a month.
