Movistar+ modifies its football packages and prices
Users who wish to subscribe to the three packages will obtain a discount of €6, with a total price of €35.
Movistar+ has reorganised its range of football packages, which include the main international competitions. Football package users will now be able to choose between three different options: beIN sports LaLiga, Movistar+ Liga de Campeones and Movistar+ Partidazo, or all three options.
The beIN sports LaLiga c hannel broadcasts eight games from each round of LaLiga Santander, including a Barça or Real Madrid match every week, as well as all the games in LaLiga1l2l3 and the Copa del Rey, for €15 per month.
The Movistar+ Liga de Campeones channel includes the Champions League, the Europa League and the best matches from the Premier League and the Bundesliga for €15 per month.
The Movistar+ Partidazo channel broadcasts the best match in LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1l2l3 every week for €11 per month.

The new Movistar+ packages reflect the increases in football costs. Andorra Telecom spokesman Carles Casadevall explained to the media that the constant increases in the costs of television rights for the Champions League and the main European leagues have been unavoidably accompanied by rises in the rates for customers.
“This trend is expected to intensify in the coming years. TV companies are having to pay more and more to broadcast the Spanish, English, French and Italian leagues and the competitions for national teams. Free-to-air channels practically no longer have rights to any competitions. And the increases are ultimately paid for by the viewer”, explained Casadevall.
In this regard, he pointed out that the new packaging model may partially offset the increase in prices, as they will enable users to choose from the options best suited to their interests.
As for users of the Premium package, which includes the whole range of films, series and sports, they will pay €47 instead of €41.80 (including IGI).
