We are Negotiating to Acquire the MotoGP Broadcasting Rights
The Formula 1 championship remains within the Movistar+ motor deal
At Andorra Telecom, we are negotiating with the owners of the MotoGP World Championship rights to be able to broadcast their content during the present season.
Movistar+, which held the broadcasting rights for this championship until last season, lost its exclusivity once the competition ended. For this reason, we have contacted the entity that owns the broadcasting rights for this year, in order to be able to offer it as soon as possible in Andorra.
According to Andorra Telecom’s head of Strategic Negotiations, Carles Casadevall, the talks are on the right track: "We have been working for weeks to ensure that our customers can enjoy the World Motorcycle Championship, regardless of the TV package they have. The negotiations are progressing satisfactorily, and we hope to be able to confirm it officially in the next few days."
Meanwhile, the Formula 1 World Championship is still in the hands of Movistar+ and can therefore be seen in the Principality in the same way as previous seasons in the Motor package, at a price of €7 per month.
